The Paladin is a holy tank-hybrid: plate mitigation backed by minor heals, group buffs, and a full-heal Lay on Hands. It's the most forgiving primary in the game, which is why it anchors so many beginner builds.
What it brings to a trio
A self-sufficient tank that patches its own health and buffs the group — it needs far less babysitting than a pure Warrior.

Plate armor. The
gear-by-class guide lists exactly what stats to chase and which named mobs and zones drop the pieces you want.
Role weightings drive the coverage bars and the trio scores — the same data the Build Forge uses. EverQuest Legends is new and soloable by design, so treat specifics as a starting point and confirm in-game. The level cap is 50.
