Raid Boss Guides

The famous bosses of Norrath. In EverQuest Legends the trio system makes these classic raid targets soloable, so these are guides for how to reach them, the mechanics to play around, the resists that carry the fight, and the loot, whether you go in solo or bring friends.

Lord Nagafen

The Red Dragon — Lord Nagafen is the red dragon lairing beneath Lavastorm, one of Norrath's iconic dragons. In classic EQ he was a guild raid; in Legends, the trio system means a capable solo player can bring him down. The fight is still all about his two big attacks, an area fire blast and an area fear, so it lives or dies on your resists and keeping your head.

Lady Vox

The White Dragon — Lady Vox is Nagafen's icy twin, the white dragon deep inside Permafrost. Same soloable trio fight, mirrored element: her breath is cold instead of fire, and her signature trick is that she heals herself, so if your damage can't out-pace her heal you'll never finish her.

Planar Gods

~Lv 55Solo challenge · small group

Cazic Thule

The Faceless, God of Fear — Cazic Thule is the god of fear and the reason the Plane of Fear earns its name. The zone bites before you reach him, aggressive, see-invis enemies everywhere, and the god pulls anything left standing when engaged. In Legends he's a soloable endgame fight for a top-tier trio, but he punishes sloppiness harder than any dragon.

Innoruuk

The Prince of Hate — Innoruuk, the Prince of Hate, waits at the top of his own dark plane. You're swarmed the moment you arrive, and his guardian and a wall of fast-healing clerics stand between you and him. In Legends he's a soloable endgame target for a well-built trio, but the plane itself is half the challenge.
