Notable quests

Wu's Fist of Mastery

Monk only, all races · Reward: Wu's Fist of Mastery (the upgrade to Wu's Tranquil Fist)

Wu's Fist of Mastery is the monk's Plane of Sky hand weapon, earned from Holwin's Test of Fists.

Bard only, all races · Reward: The seven-piece visible Lambent chain armor set for bards

Lambent Armor is the bard's classic quest chain set, turned in at the Temple of Solusek Ro to Cryssia Stardreamer and Walthin Fireweaver.

Cleric, Druid, and Shaman; all races · Reward: Paw of Opolla

Paw of Opolla is a strong early off-hand for the wisdom priests: Cleric, Druid, and Shaman.

All classes except Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, and Enchanter (mainly a melee weapon) · Reward: Screaming Mace

The Screaming Mace is a classic Crushbone quest weapon, and one of the most popular low-level twink items because the entire chain happens inside a single starter dungeon.

Staff of Temperate Flux

Wizard only, all races · Reward: Staff of Temperate Flux

The Staff of Temperate Flux is a wizard utility staff with a clicky resist debuff (LowerElement) that helps your nukes land, plus Fire and Cold saves.

Enchanter only · Reward: Coin of Tash (clicks to cast Tashania)

The Coin of Tash is the enchanter's classic city-hopping collection quest, ending in a clickable Tashania (the upgraded Tash debuff).

Chalice of Conquest

Paladin only · Reward: Holy Partisan of Underfoot (via the Chalice of Conquest)

The Chalice of Conquest is a paladin's multi-step weapon quest that ends in the Holy Partisan of Underfoot, a 2H slasher with HP and a magic save.

Soldier's Brooch

All classes and all races; you choose which of the eight versions you receive at turn-in · Reward: Soldier's Brooch

A fast, repeatable Range slot upgrade in Rathe Mountains, and a great one to run on every character.

Paladin · Reward: SoulFire

The paladin's iconic healing sword and the first big step toward the Torrid Corruptor.

Journeyman's Boots

All classes · Reward: Journeyman's Boots

The classic run-speed boots.

All except Druid, Monk, Bard · Reward: Ivandyr's Hoop (random reward)

One of the cheapest quests to attempt and one of the best tools in the game: a Midnight Mallet slow on demand, so you can cut a hard-hitting enemy's attack speed even with no other way to slow it.

Cleric, Paladin · Reward: Aegis of Life

A staple cleric and paladin shield with a Superior Healing clicky, so it doubles as a free heal on a timer.

Testament of Vanear

All classes (best for WIS and INT casters) · Reward: Testament of Vanear

A cheap, low-level secondary that any caster wants: flat mana plus a Mana Preservation focus that lowers spell cost.

Stein of Moggok

All classes · Reward: Stein of Moggok

An iconic early caster item with real stats and a Light Healing clicky.

Necromancer or Shadow Knight (reward is a choice) · Reward: Thex Mallet or Reaper of the Dead

A solid early Neriak weapon quest for the darker classes.

Torrid Corruptor

Paladin, Shadow Knight · Reward: Torrid Corruptor

Straight talk: this one is a real pain.

Bonethunder Staff

Cleric, Paladin · Reward: Bonethunder Staff

A solid early undead-fighting staff for the holy classes, with a Ward Undead proc.

Werewolf Skin Cloak

All classes · Reward: Werewolf Skin Cloak

A cheap, easy back-slot upgrade any class can grab.

White Dragonscale Cloak

All classes · Reward: White Dragonscale Cloak

A top-end caster cloak: big mana plus a damage focus.

Red Dragonscale Armor

Warrior, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Bard, Rogue · Reward: Red Dragonscale Armor

A heavy melee chest with big Strength and AC, from the same quest giver as the white cloak.
