EverQuest Legends Tradeskills

9 crafting skills1 to cap guides

EverQuest Legends has nine general tradeskills, from forging plate armor to brewing ale. Each levels on its own recipes and most cap around 200. Pick a skill below for a full guide from 1 to the cap, with the fastest skill-up recipes and where to find the materials.

Cultural tradeskills (race-specific armor and weapons) are not covered here.

How tradeskills work

Every tradeskill combines ingredients in a station, a forge, oven, brew barrel, sewing kit, and so on, found near the matching merchants in most cities. Your Intelligence or Wisdom, whichever is higher, usually governs your chance to gain a skill point; Blacksmithing also counts Strength and Fletching also counts Dexterity. A failed combine keeps the container but loses the ingredients, so buy materials in bulk. Most skills cap at 200, and once you pass 200 in any one of them the rest are held there until you buy the Crafting Mastery alternate advancement.

Crafting for the SoulFire and Torrid Corruptor

Chasing the SoulFire and then the Torrid Corruptor? The crafting they need is Baking and Brewing. Bake one Edible Goo (Rat Ears plus a Fire Beetle Eye), and brew Bog Juice plus about 300 Tumpy Tonics (Kiola Nut plus Water Flask), so buy roughly 800 Kiola Nuts and 1000 Water Flasks at the Ocean of Tears docks first. Full paths are in the Baking guide and the Brewing guide.
