The paladin's iconic healing sword and the first big step toward the Torrid Corruptor. It is a long collection quest that leans on tradeskills (brewing and baking) plus a lot of running around Freeport and a couple of faction turn-ins. Nothing here is especially hard to solo, but it is a haul, so bank every quest item as you go and expect it to eat an evening. The steps below are in the practical order players actually run them.

Soulfire quest FAQ
What is SoulFire in EverQuest Legends?
SoulFire is the Paladin's iconic healing two-hander: 23 damage on a 45 delay with STR +7, WIS +7 and a clicky Promised Renewal heal at level 40. It is Paladin only, and it is the first big step toward the Torrid Corruptor.
How do you get the SoulFire?
It is a long, item-driven collection quest. You start by killing Xicotl in Mistmoore Castle for the Glowing Sword Hilt, then work through brewing and baking, several Freeport faction turn-ins and a fight with Sir Lucan D'Lere, and finish with Brother Hayle in Splitpaw Lair.
Where does the SoulFire quest start?
In Mistmoore Castle. There is no NPC to hail because it is item-driven, so kill Xicotl in the pool room and loot the Glowing Sword Hilt to begin.
What class can use SoulFire?
Paladin only.
