Jewelcrafting sets gems into metal bars to make rings, earrings, and other jewelry, and it is the go-to skill for wearable stat and mana gear you can also sell. It levels by working up the metals, silver to electrum to gold to platinum, pairing each bar with a progressively better gem.
Every combine happens in a Jeweler's Kit, found near the tradeskill merchants in most towns. Your Intelligence or Wisdom (whichever is higher) governs your chance to gain a skill point, and a failed combine keeps the container but loses the ingredients, so buy your materials in bulk and expect some waste on the way up.
| Skill | Make | Trivial | Ingredients |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 34 | Silver jewelry (Malachite, Cat's Eye Agate, Star Rose Quartz) | 17 to 34 | Silver Bar + a low gem |
| 34 to 111 | Electrum jewelry (Malachite up to Topaz) | 74 to 111 | Electrum Bar + gem |
| 111 to 202 | Gold jewelry (up to Fire Emerald) | 146 to 202 | Gold Bar + gem |
| 202 to cap | Platinum jewelry | 218 to 279 | Platinum Bar + gem |
Each metal tier covers a wide band by pairing the same bar with a better gem, so buy bars in bulk and step the gem up as your skill climbs. Velium jewelry is not in EQL yet.
A Jeweler's Kit and a supply of metal bars and gems. Your higher of Intelligence or Wisdom governs your skill gains.
Work up the metals: silver bars with cheap gems to about 34, electrum to around 111, gold to around 202, then platinum from there, stepping the gem up as your skill rises.
The general cap is 200, raised with the Crafting Mastery AA, and recipes run up to about 279 with platinum. Velium jewelry is not in the game yet.
Low-end gems and bars are on vendors, better gems drop from mobs or come from mining, and bars are smelted from ore.
Recipes and trivial values are community-sourced from the EQL wiki, so confirm exact numbers and vendors in game.
