Lambent Armor Quest

Quest: Lambent Armor, the Bard chain set (Temple of Solusek Ro)

Lambent Armor is the bard's classic quest chain set, turned in at the Temple of Solusek Ro to Cryssia Stardreamer and Walthin Fireweaver. The seven visible pieces each pair a couple of dungeon drops with a Lambent Stone gem assembly, so working the set doubles as a farming tour through Mistmoore, the Guk dungeons, Cazic-Thule, Solusek's Eye, Unrest, Permafrost, and the Karanas. You need level 30 and at least Indifferent faction with the two questmasters, or they consume your turn-in items without paying out. Details are community-sourced from eqlwiki, so confirm the drops and faction in game.

Before you start

  1. This is a bard-only set turned in at the Temple of Solusek Ro. You need level 30 and at least Indifferent faction with Cryssia Stardreamer and Walthin Fireweaver, or they destroy your items instead of rewarding the piece.
  2. Every piece needs a gem assembly built around a Lambent Stone. Lambent Stones drop from Hill Giants and Griffons (around level 33) out in zones like the Karanas, and the stones and gems can also be bought from vendors.
  3. Budget about 1600pp for a full seven-piece visible set if you buy the gems and stones instead of farming them yourself.
