🗺 Zone map

The in-game map for this zone. North is up.

In EverQuest Legends, Kerra Isle has been redesigned as the home of the new Kerran cat-folk player race, a friendly starting hub off the coast of Odus. New Kerran characters begin here among guildmasters, merchants, and quest-giving felines, and exploring the isle is how you unlock the Kerran race.

How to Get to Kerra Isle

Sits off the coast of Odus and ties into the Odus mainland; its quests range across Kerra Isle itself and neighboring Toxxulia Forest.

EnemiesA protected starting area rather than a dungeon, with low-level wildlife and friendly Kerrans around the settlement.

Quest guides

Something is Wrrrong Level 1+
Reward: Hamed's Ring of Tears (Ring)
Mana +15 · Endurance +15 · Fire, Cold, and Magic resist +3 each · WT 0.1 · Tiny · all races and classes
Quest giver: The Kerran Sha`rr (basement of the northernmost building, around 902, 347)
  1. Talk to The Kerran Sha`rr in the basement of the northernmost building to start the quest.
  2. Search the north side of the island for clues.
  3. Kill a kerran `amir to obtain the Desecrated Kejaar Totem.
  4. Return the Desecrated Kejaar Totem to The Kerran Sha`rr.
This is the precursor to This Means Warrr, so run it first and then take the necklace quest from the same NPC.
This Means Warrr Level 1+ (smoother around 10)
Reward: Talisman of Kejaar Kerrath (Neck)
HP regen +2 · Mana regen +2 · Endurance regen +2 · WT 0.1 · Tiny · all races and classes · Lore, No Trade
Quest giver: The Kerran Sha`rr (basement of the northernmost building, around 902, 347)

Faction: Kerra Isle +100 on completion (Heretics -5; small gains with the Deepwater Knights, Gate Callers, Craftkeepers, and Crimson Hands)
Kerran characters start with enough Kerra Isle faction to turn in directly. Non-Kerrans with low standing may need to raise Kerra Isle faction first, or sneak past the room guard, before the Sha`rr will deal with them.

Dangers

A safe newbie hub, so the real risk is wandering off the isle underleveled into tougher Odus zones.

Tips

New Kerran characters should trade their starting note to a Guild Master for experience and faction, then hail them for the achievement task. Non-Kerran visitors can also hail a Guild Master to grab the achievement, a nod toward trying Kerran in a future loadout.
