Paw of Opolla Quest Guide (EverQuest Legends)

Paw of Opolla is a strong early off-hand for the wisdom priests: Cleric, Druid, and Shaman. It is soloable around level 29 (or a duo around 24) and gives AC 9 with WIS +9, AGI +9, STA +5 and Mana +5. You start with Vin Moltor down in the Qeynos Aqueducts, collect four rings from Befallen and Blackburrow, and combine them inside a Severed Paw. Part 1: Get the Severed Paw

Find Vin Moltor down in the Qeynos Aqueducts (the Catacombs). The Severed Paw comes from him one of two ways.
The clean route: bake and hand him a Rat Ear Pie plus three Bottles of Kalish, and he gives up the Severed Paw with no faction hit.
The messy route: kill him for it (roughly a 25% drop), but this damages your standing with the Qeynos-aligned factions, so the baking route is usually preferable.

Part 2: Collect the four rings

Copper Ring, Platinum Ring, and Gold Ring all drop from Gynok Moltor on the lower (third) floor of Befallen.
The Silver Ring is a ground spawn at the bottom of the pit in Blackburrow, so climb down and grab it off the floor.
Gather all four rings before the final combine.

Part 3: Assemble the Paw

Combine the four rings (Copper, Platinum, Gold, Silver) inside the Severed Paw container to create the Paw of Opolla.
The finished off-hand gives WIS +9, AGI +9, STA +5, Mana +5 and AC 9, and doubles as a light source.
