Permafrost is a sprawling ice cavern and buried castle beneath the tundra, part frozen goblin warren and part frost giant hall, and the lair of the great white dragon Lady Vox. It offers solid mid-level group hunting up front and one of EverQuest's original dragon raid targets deep inside.
How to Get to Permafrost
The zone connects only to Everfrost Peaks, with the zone line sitting near the icy cave entrance in the far northern reaches of that tundra.
EnemiesExpect ranks of ice goblins from mendicants up through sages and prelates, dire wolves of several sizes, giant wooly spiders, icy terrors, and the towering ice giants that guard the deeper castle ruins.

Dangers
Mob pathing is notoriously buggy in parts of the caverns and can send pulls in unexpected directions, the ice giants hit hard for their level, and cold-based casters chip away at anyone without frost resistance, while Lady Vox herself is a serious boss fight, not a casual pull.
Tips
Bring cold resistance for the frost damage, farm the goblins and giants for experience and named loot before attempting the dragon, and cap your cold resist (and bring fire damage for her self-heal) before you engage Lady Vox.
