Innoruuk

The Prince of Hate

Planar God Level 55 Solo challenge · small group Plane of Hate ↗

Innoruuk, the Prince of Hate, waits at the top of his own dark plane. You're swarmed the moment you arrive, and his guardian and a wall of fast-healing clerics stand between you and him. In Legends he's a soloable endgame target for a well-built trio, but the plane itself is half the challenge.

In EQL, this is soloable: Innoruuk is an endgame god fight. A strong Legends trio can solo him, and a small group makes it comfortable. His plane swarms you on arrival, so it's as much about surviving the room as the god.

How to reach it

Reach the Plane of Hate by wizard port (or however your group travels there). There are no casual exits, so plan how you'll leave before you dive in.

Boss statsHe's a high-resist fight that can be slowed; his exact values scale with difficulty.

Key mechanics

  • Heavy hitter Innoruuk hits hard and fast, so a careless engage ends quickly. Know the fight and open from a stable position.
  • Buff-stripping dispels His attacks strip buffs (a knockback dispel plus a melee-proc dispel), so expect to re-buff and keep a junk buff on top as a shield.
  • Slowable Despite high resists he can be slowed, and landing a slow is a huge damage-reduction win solo, so bring your best debuff.

Resists

He resists most magic but can be slowed. The bigger puzzle is the trash: his clerics chain-heal each other and some enemies resist nearly all magic, so plan how you'll get through the room.

Strategy

  • Survive the entrance You land surrounded. Stabilize in a defensible spot before pushing toward him, solo, the opening seconds are the most dangerous.
  • Shut down the healers Innoruuk's clerics cast fast heals on each other. Split them, interrupt them, or burst them so they can't chain-heal the pack.
  • Slow him and stack a junk buff Land a slow to blunt his damage, and keep a throwaway buff up so his dispels eat it instead of your important ones.
  • Scale to your gear Start at a difficulty your trio can hold and climb as you out-gear him.

Good to know

Like the Plane of Fear, this plane carries Epic Weapon pieces, so clearing to Innoruuk pays off beyond his own loot.

EverQuest Legends is soloable by design (the trio system), so these classic raid targets don't need a full raid, and the current level cap is 50. Mechanics and loot use the classic encounter as a backbone, which EQL tunes, so treat numbers as reference and confirm in-game.
