The Gorge of King Xorbb, also called the Beholder's Maze, is a winding rocky canyon ruled by the evil eye tyrant King Xorbb and populated by his goblins, muddites, minotaurs, and deadly floating evil eyes. It sits as a pass between Karana and the halfling lands and is best known for how dangerous its casters are for the level.
Getting thereThe gorge borders the Eastern Plains of Karana to the west through a southwestern pass, and connects eastward to Runnyeye Citadel, with the longer approach coming up through Rivervale and Misty Thicket.
EnemiesGoblin lookouts, sentries, and veterans hold the low end, muddites and gorge and chasm minotaurs fill the middle, and the truly dangerous evil eyes patrol with a full spellbook of nukes and charm effects.

Dangers
The evil eyes are the pinnacle of danger here, capable of one-shotting a low-level player with a nuke and charming group members to turn them on each other, while the narrow gorges force unwanted extra pulls and the high walls invite fatal falling damage.
Tips
Give the evil eyes a wide berth until you can survive their spells, camp near the entrances or the King's throne and pull mobs back to a defensible spot rather than fighting in the open chasm, and be careful running the elevated walls since falls can kill.
