Kelethin

Outdoor Faydwer Lv 1–10

Kelethin is the wood elf treetop city built on wooden platforms high in the canopy of Greater Faydark, the ancestral home and starting city of wood elves and half elves. It is technically part of the Greater Faydark zone rather than a separate instance, so there is no zone line entering it, only lifts up from the forest floor. The open-air city hosts druids, rangers, bards, rogues and warriors along with all their trainers and merchants.

Getting thereKelethin sits within Greater Faydark, which connects to Lesser Faydark to the west, the orc keep of Crushbone to the north, Butcherblock Mountains to the south, and the high elf city of Felwithe. Wooden lifts raise players from the forest floor up to the platforms and back down.
EnemiesThe city platforms themselves are peaceful, and hunting happens on the ground of Greater Faydark below against decaying elf and dwarf skeletons, snakes, spiders, bats, bixies and the roaming pixies and orcs that wander in from Crushbone.

Notable NPCs

  • Kelethin Bank banker Bankers on the platforms let players store coin and items between hunts.
  • Wood Elf Guildmasters guildmaster Trainers for druids, rangers, bards, rogues and warriors are spread across the treetop guild platforms.
  • Kelethin Merchants merchant Vendors on the platforms sell newbie weapons, armor, food, arrows and tradeskill goods.
  • Greater Faydark Guards service Wood elf guards patrol the platforms and forest and will help against low-level threats near the city.

Dangers

The greatest hazard in Kelethin is the city itself: the platforms have no railings, and a misstep sends you plummeting to the forest floor for potentially deadly fall damage. New players routinely die from falls while navigating the lifts and walkways, so move carefully and use the lifts rather than jumping between platforms.

Tips

Learn the lift locations early and always look before you step to avoid fatal falls off the unrailed platforms. If you fall to the ground, use the marked lifts to return, and hunt the safe newbie mobs directly beneath the city where guards can assist.

Zone data is early and community-sourced, so confirm details in-game.
