Kithicor Forest

Kithicor Forest is a deceptively peaceful woodland by day, home to low-level wildlife and a camp of Shralok orcs, but from dusk it transforms into one of Norrath's deadliest zones as a haunted army of high-level undead spawns across the trees. It is infamous as a killing ground for careless travelers.

Getting thereRivervale, the halfling city, lies to the north; West Commonlands opens to the east toward Freeport; and Highpass Hold connects from the west.
EnemiesBy day the forest holds snakes, bixies, fire beetles, spiders, bears, and the Shralok orc camp in the southwest, but from 8PM to 6AM game time ordinary NPCs are replaced by aggressive level 35-plus undead including zombies, skeletons, ghouls, and dread wolves.

Dangers

The nighttime undead are extremely aggressive, hit hard, and see through most low-level stealth, making the forest a death trap for anyone crossing between Rivervale and the Commonlands after dark. Even by day the Shralok orcs group up and can overwhelm solo newbies.

Tips

Cross the zone only during daylight game hours or take the safer route, and low-level groups can farm the Shralok orc camp for scalps and experience while avoiding the eastern and central woods that fill with undead at night.
