Lavastorm Mountains is a blasted volcanic zone of black rock, lava flows, and open craters east of Nektulos Forest. It is best known as the gateway to several major dungeons and is populated by fire elementals, imps, and shadowed men that make it a step up in difficulty from the surrounding lands.
Getting thereNektulos Forest lies to the west, the dungeons of Solusek's Eye and Nagafen's Lair open in the south, the prison of Najena sits in the southeast, and the floating Temple of Solusek Ro is reached from the north of the zone. Most connections are simple zone lines reached on foot across the rock.
EnemiesFire imps, fire sprites, lava crawlers, rock dervishes, and fire drakes roam the volcanic ground, with lava basilisks and firescale crocodiles lurking near the water and pools. Fast, aggressive shadowed men patrol the zone and fire giants guard the approach to the Solusek dungeons.

Dangers
Shadowed men are fast on the ground and hit hard, so they can run down casters who try to flee, and the firescale crocodiles hidden in the northeastern corner are much stronger than the surrounding wildlife. The fire giants near the Solusek entrances will crush anyone underleveled who wanders into aggro range.
Tips
Lava basilisks and warbone undead near Najena are common camps for their signature loot such as the Basilisk Bracer and Bone Fingered Gloves. Keep clear of the shadowed men when soloing, and watch your footing near lava since falling into a flow can be lethal at low levels.
