One of EverQuest's most beloved dungeons: a haunted manor on Faydwer packed with the restless dead, from its overgrown yard up through the tower and down into the basement. Groups grind the floors for steady XP and a deep bench of named drops, and the zone is a rite of passage for mid-level Faydwer characters.
The Estate of Unrest was revamped in EverQuest Legends. Its rare named are now guaranteed spawns with no placeholders, most rares have new items added and existing items improved, first-floor undead now occasionally drop Fine Steel weaponry, and more named are flagged as rare creatures with higher mote drop rates. Drop tables here are being re-checked against the live patch.
Official change: August 25, 2026 update.
On Faydwer, entered from Dagnor's Cauldron through the manor's long entry tunnel. The Faydark forests also put Crushbone and Castle Mistmoore within reach.
The overgrown yard trash and the ground floor. Easy early pulls to warm up on.
The first-floor named rooms. The Lesser Blade Fiend (Gladius, Pugius) and the manor casters camp here.
The classic Fireplace camp on the second floor, plus the bar and tower named (Undead Barkeep, Reclusive Ghoul Magus, Priest of Najena). Khrix Fritchoff lurks in a second-floor closet.
High-risk, high-reward. Garanel Rucksif holds the Dwarf Room, and the Festering Hags and Tentacle Terrors pack the deep rooms. Fast-paced content for a level 28-plus group.
The single long entry tunnel is the classic hazard: if a train gets loose in the manor and pours into it, wait for it to come back out rather than walking in. Undead density is high and pulls go bad fast, especially in the basement.
Camp a floor rather than roaming. The second-floor Fireplace and the third-floor bar are the standard named camps, and the basement is fast-paced content for a level 28-plus group. Bring crowd control and damage that works on the undead.
