Innothule Swamp is a fetid, waterlogged lowland that serves as the newbie yard for the Troll city of Grobb and the outdoor approach to the dungeon of Guk. Shallow muck and deep pools crisscross the zone, and its mobs are notorious for assisting one another and dogpiling careless adventurers.
Getting thereThe Troll city of Grobb is set into the southwest edge of the swamp, the well and lake in the east descend into Upper Guk, the Southern Desert of Ro lies to the west, and The Feerrott adjoins to the south. All are reached on foot, though the Guk entrance requires crossing deep water.
EnemiesLarge and giant rats, decaying skeletons, fungusmen, kobolds, and swamp snakes fill the shallows, while swamp and bull alligators and giant moccasins patrol the deeper water. Human adventurers near the Guk entrance are hostile to dark races, and froglok raiding parties press up out of the dungeon.

Tips
New Trolls should hunt the rats, snakes, and skeletons near the Grobb entrance where pulls are cleanest. Dark-race players heading for Guk should give the hostile human camp a wide berth, and use sneak or invisibility to slip past the Dark Deathsinger and the froglok raiders.
